Courage for change and peace
The Andreus Peace Award was established in 2022 by Austrian entrepreneur Andreas Kienbink to inspire people to take action towards change and peace. The award honors individuals who demonstrate courage and openness, embodying the qualities associated with the ancient Greek meaning of "andreios" - manly and brave. The award's name reflects this origin, while also giving Andreus a new meaning - one that encompasses both bravery and openness to change.
